SMTB Course Requirements
(Link above provides guidance for Waivers and Common Requirement for all SMTB Courses)

 Be prepared to conduct Height and Weight and a record ACFT in week one as it is a graduation requirement for all PME courses. Review ATP 7-22.01 and FM 7-22 prior to the course start.
Students are required to conduct physical readiness training (PRT) throughout the course.


Review the "SMTB Student Guide" for information about Directions To Camp Robinson's Main Gate, Contact Information, Mailing Address/Arrival/Reporting and Departure Procedures, Spouses/Guest, Messages, Medical Care, Billeting/Housekeeping, Dining Facility, Fitness Center, Weapons, Emergency, Financial Matters, Judge Advocacy General (JAG), Rental Cars, Privately Owned Vehicles (POV), Identification, Safety, Classroom Conduct, Fraternization, Required Items, Leave/Pass Policy, PEC Campus Map, and "Packing Liston page 15.

Failure to follow instructions may delay your in-processing and may result in non-enrollment. 

Purpose
This course prepares RRNCOs to serve in positions of greater influence and responsibility within the ARNG Recruiting and Retention Force.
 

    Target Audience
Current AGR SFCs and SSGs assigned to a 79T duty position.

     
Course Length is Three Weeks

     Suitability Screening is Required



Prerequisites 

Soldiers must meet the following criteria:
(1) Soldiers must possess MOS 79T and in the rank of SSG or SFC. No waiver Authorized. (2) Graduate an Advanced Leader Course (ALC). The ALC Constructive Credit (CC) memorandum for record (MFR) from TRADOC meets this requirement. Graduates of the 79T Conversion Course are considered ALC graduates. No waiver/ETP authorized. (3) Complete Distributed Learning Course 3 (DLC3) before the course start date. No waiver/ETP authorized. (4) Soldiers selected to attend the course must meet MOS requirements outlined in
AR 623-3 (Evaluation Reporting System).
(5) Must meet the MOS 79T physical profile (PULHES) listed in DAM Pam 611-21. 
 
Soldiers are required to upload the following prerequisite documents in "

 NLT 10 Business days from the course start date.

Recruiter Workstation (RWS)

All RRB personnel attending SMTB courses will utilize their State issued Recruiter Workstation (RWS).  
   RRB personnel attending SMTB course must have an appropriate RSID and a functional and compliant RWS. The State RWS will be utilized both in the classroom and for homework assignments. Failure to have an RWS on hand will result in the student not being allowed to attend the course. 
  In the event a computer becomes non-compliant or requires maintenance while at SMTB, our IT Section will temporarily issue a student RWS. Our IT staff will reach out to the State Automation NCO and will assist with repairs or remediation as needed.

Reporting
 
Sunday, May 5th, 2024:  Report to Independence Hall for room assignment. 

Monday, May 6th, 2024 @ 0600hrs: Report for height and weight screening in Summer APFU (s/s shirt and shorts) with CAC to Aleutians Hall BLDG 4403 Room 102 and 103 

 
The registration desk in Independence Hall does not establish reporting times or locations.
Early arrival requires prior approval by SMTB Leadership.

Log into Black Board:

This will take you to the home page. Once there, look for “courses”
across the top of the page.


Click on "Courses"

   
Click on “Browse Course Catalog” 










 
 
Make sure the first selection says "Name"
 Make sure the second selection says “Contains”.
TypeRecruiting and Retention NCO SLC 24-003 into the space provided. 
Click “Go”. 



Click on the down arrow next to the course then Click on "Enroll".
























 
 
Type “SLC24-003" into Access Code and Click "Submit".
The Access Code is Case Sensitive. 

 
The next time you log into Black Board, you will find your course under “My Courses.”
