SMTB Course Requirements

Review the "SMTB Student Guide" for information about Directions To Camp Robinson's Main Gate, Contact Information, Mailing Address/Arrival/Reporting and Departure Procedures, Spouses/Guest, Messages, Medical Care, Billeting/Housekeeping, Dining Facility, Fitness Center, Weapons, Emergency, Financial Matters, Judge Advocacy General (JAG), Rental Cars, Privately Owned Vehicles (POV), Identification, Safety, Classroom Conduct, Fraternization, Required Items, Leave/Pass Policy, PEC Campus Map, and "Packing List" on page 15.

Failure to follow instructions may delay your in-processing and may result in non-enrollment. 

 Purpose

This course provides newly assigned or selected for assignment RRB Information System Specialists with knowledge, skills, and techniques to perform successfully. Additionally, this course allows Information System Specialists to maintain their current information security certifications.

Target Audience

ARNG Soldiers, SGT through MSG currently assigned or selected to perform ARNG Recruiting and Retention Information System Specialist duties.

Course Length is Two Weeks

   Suitability Screening is Not Required 

Prerequisites
 
ARNG Soldier, SGT or above, qualified in the MOS 25B, 79T or Soldiers that have completed SQI4, assigned or selected for assignment to TDA position of ARNG Recruiting and Retention Information System Specialist. Soldiers must have been appointed IATI or IATII for the RRB, granted ARISS accounts as a line 13 automation NCO, assigned correct roles in Information Management System (IMS) and Headquarter Support System (HSS), completed the Cyber Security Fundamentals Certification Course, and be CompTIA Security+ preparation course compliant. The RRC may submit a request for an administrative waiver for Soldiers in the rank of SPC/CPL, who do not meet MOS requirements, or who are not assigned to a TDA position. Only one of these disqualifications may be waived.
No ETPs authorized.

 
Soldiers are required to upload the following prerequisite documents in 
SMTB SharePoint NLT 10 Business days from the course start date.
Soldiers who fail to meet this requirement will be non-enrolled from the course:

Recruiter Workstation (RWS)

All RRB personnel attending SMTB courses will utilize their State issued Recruiter Workstation (RWS).  
   RRB personnel attending SMTB course must have an appropriate RSID and a functional and compliant RWS. Failure to have an RWS on hand will result in the student not being allowed to attend the course. Students must bring two computers; one will be functional, and the other Air Gapped, two external Hard Drives (for the OWL and ABS images) and external CAC reader. Computers will be available for building RWS images. Students may bring additional computer for builds in they desire.


Application Access Requirements

Army 365 (A365) Account with access to MS Teams, Army Recruiting Information Support System (ARISS) User Account, Two Digit RSID in Line 13, BI Zone, HSS FAZR (lookup/maintain), HSS Per (all), IMS, One Identity Active Roles and PiCAT Administrator

Reporting

Sunday, July 7th, 2024:  Report to Independence Hall for room assignment and in-processing. 

Monday, July 8th, 2024 @ 0600hrs: Report for height and weight screening in Summer APFU (s/s shirt, and shorts)
with CAC to Lexington Hall, BLDG 3401, Rm 104

Graduation
 is scheduled for the late afternoon of July 19th, 2024.
Travel day is July 20th, 2024.


         
 The registration desk in Independence Hall does not establish reporting times or locations.
