SMTB Course Requirements
(Link above provides guidance for Waivers and Common Requirement for all SMTB Courses)

Be prepared to conduct Height and Weight and a record ACFT in week one as it is a graduation requirement for all PME courses. Review ATP 7-22.01 and FM 7-22 prior to the course start.
Students are required to conduct physical readiness training (PRT) throughout the course.


Review the "SMTB Student Guide" for information about Directions To Camp Robinson's Main Gate, Contact Information, Mailing Address/Arrival/Reporting and Departure Procedures, Spouses/Guest, Messages, Medical Care, Billeting/Housekeeping, Dining Facility, Fitness Center, Weapons, Emergency, Financial Matters, Judge Advocacy General (JAG), Rental Cars, Privately Owned Vehicles (POV), Identification, Safety, Classroom Conduct, Fraternization, Required Items, Leave/Pass Policy, PEC Campus Map, and "Packing List" on page 15.

Failure to follow instructions may delay your in-processing and may result in non-enrollment. 

 Purpose
The Recruiter Leader Course contributes to the Army National Guard's End-Strength Mission Requirements by preparing current and future RRSCs to evaluate the enlisted accessions, retention activities, and attrition activities conducted by individual RRNCOs and their team. At the end of this course, Soldiers will have the competencies, skills, and attributes to lead a recruiting team through the ARNG Strength Maintenance Program; recruiting quality Soldiers, retaining MOS qualified Soldiers, and reducing first term Soldier losses through attrition management.

Current and selected RRSCs. 

Course Length is Three Weeks

Prerequisites
 

Students must be MOS 79T qualified in the grade of E-7 or E-8 and assigned to or projected to a RRSC/NCOIC position.
Students must have an active three-digit RSID. Students projected to fill an RRSC position within the next six months must upload a memorandum signed by the RRBN Commander stating such.  Failure to upload the memorandum prior to Day 1 will cause the student to be disenrolled. If you are pending assignment to a three-digit RSID, you must be temporarily assigned to a 2-digit RSID.

 
Soldiers are required to upload the following in-processing documents in
 "SMTB SharePoint" NLT 10 days prior to the start of the course.

Soldiers who fail to meet this requirement will be disenrolled from the course

      Recruiter Workstation (RWS)

All RRB personnel attending SMTB courses will utilize their State issued Recruiter Workstation (RWS).  
   RRB personnel attending SMTB course must have an appropriate RSID and a functional and compliant RWS. The State RWS will be utilized both in the classroom and for homework assignments. Failure to have an RWS on hand will result in the student not being allowed to attend the course. 
  In the event a computer becomes non-compliant or requires maintenance while at SMTB, our IT Section will temporarily issue a student RWS. Our IT staff will reach out to the State Automation NCO and will assist with repairs or remediation as needed.  
 

Application Access Requirements
Army 365 (A365) Account with access to MS Teams, Army Recruiting Information Support System (ARISS) User Account in a 3 Digit RRSC position, Recruiter Zone, School Zone, Bi-Zone, and State Level DPRO access. DPRO access may be granted by completing DA Form 2875 and submitted to your State RRB Automation NCO. (Student that are projected to be in a RRSC position, must be moved to a 2-Digit RSID in an Operations NCO Role NLT the beginning of Day 1. 

Additional Items
Students will create multiple Professional Development counseling's for one of their RRNCOs, so students must bring the following information / documents to complete these counseling’s: 


* Strength Maintenance Missioning Document.
* RRNCO Prospecting/Lead Generation Plan.

Reporting 
Sunday, July 7th, 2024: 
Report to Independence Hall for room assignment and in-processing. 

Monday, July 8th, 2024 @ 0600hrs: Report for height and weight screening in Summer APFU (s/s shirt and shorts) with CAC to Aleutians Hall BLDG 4403 Room 106

The registration desk in Independence Hall does not establish reporting times or locations.
