MISSION

The Cyber & Information Advantage Battalion (CIAB) provides training to build agile and adaptive Signal and Cyber leaders across the National Guard.

To offer premier Information Technology and Cyber Training our Signal and Cyber Soldiers and civilians.

COMMAND PHILOSOPHY

We must sustain an environment that enables our team to accomplish the mission while caring for our personnel and families. We will maintain the highest quality of stewardship of government resources, seek continual improvement, and communicate effectively with our customers and higher headquarters.

This approach is based on three core ideas:

  • To operate, within the commander's intent, a shared understanding of the operating environment and seize upon emerging opportunities to enable supported units' success
  • To seek continued improvement in our facilities, equipment, and ourselves as professionals while taking care of our families and each other
  • To develop and deliver training with the end state of enhancing supported units' readiness mind and state JFHQs' deliberate approach to improve readiness in all we do
