LTC Ronald R. Jones
Lieutenant Colonel Ronald Jones joined the Nebraska Army National Guard in 2008. He is a native of Omaha, Nebraska. In 2008, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and commissioned as a maintenance Officer through the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Program at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
 
LTC Jones’ previous assignments include Platoon Leader, 267th Support Maintenance Company; Logistics Advisor, Iraq; Executive Officer, 267th Support Maintenance Company; Commander, 267th Support Maintenance Company; Deputy Commander, 195th Special Operations Forward Support Company; Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program Manager; Soldier and Family Support National Guard Bureau; Executive Officer, Soldier and Family Support Division National Guard Bureau; Deputy Chief of Staff, Center for Initial Military Training .
 
In 2017, LTC Jones was assessed into the Title 10 Active Guard Reserve program as the Senior Personnel Readiness Analyst, Personnel and Policy Division National Guard Bureau, Section Chief for Mobilization, Human Resource Management Division National Guard Bureau, Section Chief Lifecycle Management Boards, Human Capital Management Division National Guard Bureau, Team Lead Active Guard Reserve, Personnel and Policy Division National Guard Bureau.
 
LTC  Jones’ military education includes Ordinance Basic Officer Leaders Course, Ordinance Captains Career Course, Commanders Safety Course, Airborne Course, Fiscal Law Course, Human Resource Management Qualification Course, Intermediate Level Education Common Core Course, Intermediate Level Education Advance Operations Course, Reserve Component National Security Course.
 
LTC Jones’s civilian education includes Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Master of Science degree in Justice Administration and Crime Management from Bellevue University, Bellevue Nebraska.
 
His awards include Meritorious Service Medal with 2 OLCs, Army Commendation, Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Component s Achievement Medal with 3 OLCs, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Medal, Overseas Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal.
