Call Hilton Garden Inn Arlington/Shirlington central reservations department to confirm a reservation. Please call 1-877-STAYHGI and mention the group name ARNG PRE-COMMAND COURSE or group code APC when making your reservation. Only book at the Hilton Garden Inn (Arlington/Shirlington) for PC 25-001, using the required group code, to include transportation to and from the hotel/class.
Guests may go online to our website to confirm a reservation. Please visit www.arlingtonshirlington.hgi.com. Enter the dates of your stay, next to the dates select “Special Rates”. In the “Group Code” field, type your group code APC then “Check Rooms and Rates”.

The cutoff date for guests to make their reservations is 11/12/2024. After the cutoff date, reservations will be made at the prevailing daily rate based upon availability.

Prerequisites
Army National Guard enlisted & officer personnel currently serving in or selected for Battalion Leader duties. Army National Guard Officers LTC and MAJ, must be assigned or pending assignment as RRB Commander, or XO. Army National Guard AGR Enlisted
Soldiers MSG or above, must possess the MOS 79T, the Expert Recruiting and Retention Badge and be assigned or pending assignment as RRB Command Sergeant Major or Operations Sergeant Major.
No waivers or ETPs authorized.
Soldiers are required to upload the following prerequisite documents in "SMTB SharePoint" NLT 10 Business days from the course start date.
Soldiers who fail to meet this requirement will be non-enrolled from the course:

Recruiter Workstation (RWS)
All RRB personnel attending SMTB courses will utilize their State issued Recruiter Workstation (RWS).
RRB personnel attending SMTB course must have an appropriate RSID and a functional and compliant RWS. The State RWS will be utilized both in the classroom and for homework assignments. Failure to have an RWS on hand will result in the student not being allowed to attend the course.
In the event a computer becomes non-compliant or requires maintenance while at SMTB, our IT Section will temporarily issue a student RWS. Our IT staff will reach out to the State Automation NCO and will assist with repairs or remediation as needed.
