Welcome to MilSuite Monday

Each Monday SMTC will post information related to The SMTC MilSuite group.  Currently, these post are designed to bring the Recruiting and Retention Force information about the SMTC MilSuite page, introduce additional MilSuite groups that may add value to your recruiting practices, highlight and introduce changes made through the Strength Maintenance (SM) Doctrine and Publication Cell, and to provide an overview of what is available at The SMTC MilSuite site along with how to best utilize specific features.  We will use feedback provided through the comment section provided here as we look at future ideas and topics for MilSuite Monday.

The Strength Maintenance Training Center MilSuite page went live in September 2018 reaching 775 members and 789 followers on 1 March 2019. The SMTC MilSuite page houses all SMTC training event and course announcements as well as student welcome letters and upcoming course information.

The intent of SM Doctrine and Publications Cell is to work with the Branches within HRR, as well as the Recruiting and Retention Force, to ensure the ARNG production recruiters are operating with the most current and up to date tools to assist with meeting the end strength goals for the FY. In addition, the SM Doctrine and Publications Cell works closely with the SMTC training developers to ensure training developed incorporates current TTPs and Lessons Learned. It is very important to provide students with the necessary tools to assist them with their assigned mission(s). This extends to making the information available for reach back after graduation.

ARNG Accession Options Criteria AOC Change

ARNG Accession Options Criteria (AOC) released as PPOM 19-009 on 28 February 2019 with an effective date of 1 March 2019.

The previous AOC was an authorized extension of the FY17-18 AOC and was augmented by 48 different operational change messages. The release of the new AOC rescinds 20 of those messages and implements the relevant operational changes as new policy: View the list of rescinded SMOMS.

New HRR Forms and NGB Forms       (1 April 2018-21 Feb 2019)

The Strength Maintenance Doctrine and Publications Cell MilSuite page went live on 28 February 2019 –

Welcome to the Strength Maintenance Training Center. The SMTC trains the Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Force encompassing recruiting, retention and attrition management. In addition to qualification training, the Strength Maintenance Training Center is the only active duty NCO academy in the Army National Guard.
